Endophithalmitis in Double Flanged wrong technique

LARGE FLANGED AND ENDOPHTHALMITIS IN CANABRAVA TECHNIQUE

This is a sad case published by Eduardo Roditi @ophth_roditi from Israel! All my papers and talks I always remember the risks of endophthalmitis when the surgeon perform short Scleral tunnel and don’t burried it the Sclera! Here the first published case in ophthalmology! As the creator of the technique it is my obligation to always warn of the risks and show the best tips! Please, before starts in the technique, do wetlabs, watch videos and read the original paper! And please:

1. Do long tunnel
2. Do small flanged
3. Bury the flanged inside the scleral

In time: Dr Eduardo Roditi @ophth_roditi only received and treated the patient in his hospital!
